If you have experience assembling electrical control panels or come from a strong electrical wiring background within a manufacturing setting and is eager to work in a dynamic environment, this temp-to-hire role is the perfect opportunity for you.Electrical Technician - 1st Shift:Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - FridayHourly Pay:$24/hourKey Responsibilities:Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer specifications.Interpret and follow schematics, diagrams, blueprints, work orders, and bills of materials.Drill, tap, or mount control units and components, ensuring proper openings for wiring, instruments, or parts.Use various small hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.Perform point-to-point wiring and install a variety of electronic components, such as PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.Update documentation as needed and work with Engineering to initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).Perform tasks like deburring, grinding, and sawing. Operate hand pallet jacks to move materials within the facility.Install completed assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.Be open to working overtime when required.Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.A technical certification in Electrical Controls is preferred.At least 2 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, and reading electrical schematics and diagrams.Strong understanding of electrical currents.Experience with mechanical installation and electrical wiring of control panels and desks.Proficiency with hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels is essential.Electrical Technicians apply today!
