Job DescriptionJob DescriptionElkhart Oaks Care Center in Elkhart , TX is searching for a Full time, Part time or PRN Physical Therapist Assistant! We can offer flexible schedule! For this facility to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.$2,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time!PTA Duties Include:Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical TherapistResponds to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Physical TherapistImplements and modifies the patients physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision.Measures & records patients motor function, strength, and muscle performanceMonitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
