In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate inspections of vehicles to ensure they comply with state regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, as well as extensive knowledge of Massachusetts inspection regulations and guidelines. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with customers and other team members. A valid Massachusetts State Inspector license is required for this position. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for ensuring the safety and compliance of vehicles on the road, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.We are willing to provide paid training and certification for the right candidate who is motivated to learn and has a strong interest in the automotive industry.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough and accurate inspections of vehicles to ensure they comply with Massachusetts regulations and safety standardsFollow established inspection procedures and guidelines, and maintain accurate records of inspections performedCommunicate effectively with customers and service advisors to explain inspection results and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance servicesStay up-to-date with the latest inspection regulations and guidelines, and attend training sessions and seminars as requiredEnsure all inspections are completed safely and to the highest quality standards, and comply with all relevant regulations and safety standardsMaintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all equipment and tools are properly calibrated and in good working conditionProvide exceptional customer service and ensure customers receive timely and accurate inspection results and recommendationsCollaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the inspection centerMaintain a professional and positive demeanor, and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.QualificationsValid drivers licenseBe able to lift 25 lbs. unassistedRead and write English
