Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Shipping & ReceivingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated individual for the Shipping & Receiving role. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in basic math, computer skills, and at least 6 months of experience in shipping and inventory management. The candidate will be responsible for packaging orders according to customer specifications in a large warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesPackage orders according to customer orders.Retrieve correct products from shelves based on order forms.Use a scale and understand basic math skills.Read and write accurately.Lift up to 55lbs.Review orders and pick customer orders from assigned locations using power equipment.Pack, seal, label, and apply postage to prepare materials for shipment.Work individually on tasks but collectively on completing daily work.Essential SkillsProficient with math.6 months of shipping experience.6 months of inventory experience.Proficient with a computer.Ability to lift 55lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious forklift experience (preferred but not required).Great attendance and reliability.Dependable and a team player.Hard worker who works well with others.Why Work Here?Join a team that values reliability, hard work, and teamwork. The candidate needs to stay focused and avoid distractions such as cell phones. You will be standing for the entire shift. The warehouse lacks windows, so it can get hot during the summer months. You will work individually on tasks but contribute collectively to completing daily work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, Connecticut.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
