This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about providing individualized support to elementary students (K-5). This full-time role is set to begin ASAP and is essential to support the growth of the school and assist in managing the caseload.Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with a team of 2 experienced SPED teachers to manage the caseload and provide effective support. Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in pliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide resource support to elementary students (K-5), tailoring educational plans to meet each students unique needs. municate with parents, staff, and administration to ensure that students educational goals are met. Participate in IEP meetings, progress reports, and other administrative duties as required. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and success. Requirements:Must hold a CT SPED Certification (Certification #165 Endorsement). Proven experience in writing and implementing IEPs. Previous experience working with elementary students (K-5) in a Resource Position. Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff. Strong munication and organizational skills. mitment to student success and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
