Production Team Associate

Job DescriptionJob Description PLEASE TAKE THE REQUIRED ASSESSMENT:OverviewThe Production Team Associate is accountable for shipping, receiving, and materials management. Job Summary and Responsibilities: Ship orders using SAP software, UPS World Ship, Pacejet, or other carriers programs.Receive material, label, and move material to proper storage location when incoming quality inspection is complete. Maintain warehouse location accuracy. Order shipping supplies including but not limited to cartons, tape, etc. Solve logistics issues. Contact suppliers/carriers to expedite late or critical shipments. Work in a cross functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide on-time delivery, quality, and profitability goals. Critical thinking skills are a must. Education/ Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse procedures, shipping, receiving, and material management Strong computer literacy required.Knowledge and Skills: Experience with SAP or a similar system is a plus. Understanding of production flow and Purchasing/Production. Understanding of inventory management. Proven communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word Skills are preferred. Need to be able to lift 50 pounds.
