Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview:The Senior Project Analyst will participate in key Finance initiatives, including the implementation of OneStream for Corporate Closing/Consolidations and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This role will support the transformation of Cornings global FP&A processes by analyzing current models, designing optimized future states, and ensuring efficient implementation. You will work on projects that involve cost reductions, process improvements, and the integration of business functions across Corning Shared Services.Key Responsibilities:Project Analysis and Implementation: Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of the OneStream application for budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.Support the transformation and integration of FP&A processes into Shared Services to maximize scalability and efficiency.Collaboration and Requirements Definition: Work with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, define business rules, functional requirements, and data modeling requirements. Support design and testing efforts through the creation of test requirements and test scripts.Change Management & Training: Develop change management strategies, including communication plans and training materials for stakeholders.Execute end-user training and support system implementation during the go-live phase.Process Improvement: Evaluate and recommend process improvements. Contribute to the creation of internal support processes and metrics to measure operational efficiency.Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as an SME on financial systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) and finance-related business processes. Provide solutions and best practices to increase efficiencies.Reporting & Documentation: Maintain process documentation, track project metrics, and provide detailed reports on project progress to management.Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and internal standards.Travel Requirements: Up to 25% domestic travel may be required based on project assignments.Work Schedule:On-site work is preferred, with flexible hybrid work schedules available (e.g., 3 days in-office).Core work hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with occasional extended work hours or weekends during critical project phases.Required Education and Experience:Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.3+ years of experience working on finance or shared service projects, including experience with Close/Record to Report functions.Solid understanding of SAP S4 HANA (FICO) and experience in accounting systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).Required Skills:Functional Finance knowledge of SAP S4 HANA or PeopleSoft.Ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously, under tight deadlines.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on follow-through.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Desired Skills:Experience with OneStream implementations.Familiarity with PeopleSoft or SAP S4.Certified Green Belt in Lean/Six Sigma.Experience with Shared Services process design, deployment, or integration projects.Experience with project metric setting and reporting.Knowledge of Cornings standards, processes, and tools.Soft Skills:Ambitious and self-driven, with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative, with strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.Exceptional customer focus with a commitment to delivering successful projects.Eager to learn and grow professionally.Ability to work across diverse groups and levels within the organization.Education: Bachelors DegreeCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
