A strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is required. A BS degree in accounting, finance or equivalent is required with 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the telecommunications industry, specifically in broadband and VoIP services needed. Knowledge of telecommunications taxation and reporting (FCC, USF, USAC, etc.) preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel is needed. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, effective communication skills, and high level of integrity and confidentiality a must.Meriwether Lewis Connect is a fast-growing fiber broadband company and wholly owned subsidiary of Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative.
