Fuel Dock Attendant

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Fuel Dock Attendant assists in the operation of the Marina Fuel Dock facility by providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, giving docking help to customers, payment processing, grounds keeping, facility cleaning, and maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times. This role requires that the highest level of service be given to each customer; a background in customer service is greatly valued. Previous experience or knowledge of boats is also helpful, but not required.ResponsibilitiesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide world-class customer serviceConduct regular dock checks to ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and monitor fueling of vesselsAssist with special events at the Fuel Dock and around the marina when neededMaintain cleanliness of store, office, and dock at all timesAssist boaters on and off the dock and answer questions upon arrivalResponsible for conducting transactions and accurately recording salesAnswer questions about products being sold, the marina, or Seattle in generalSeek opportunities for marketing promotions/special deals or other ways to draw in businessCommitment to environmental best practices and safetyMust be available weekends and holidays as neededRequired SkillsSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment Motivated and able to work independently as well as working in a team environmentThis position is heavily based outdoors and will need to be willing to work in all weather conditions.Must be 19 years of age for this position as the store sells alcohol productsComfortable around water and working on docks
