Shift hours are from 11pm-7am. $1.22/hr year one hire on bonus opportunity, and take advantage of our profit-sharing program, a $10,000 forgivable housing loan and our KLN HEALTH CLINIC. Perham is an amazing place to raise a family, spend time on the lake, shop one of the many gift shops, and join the team at this family-owned company.JOB OBJECTIVE Operate and maintain packaging machine and scale equipment at Kennys Candy & Confections. Bag product into required finished products. Training of all operators, assist training of line staff. Assisting and completing samples, trials, inspections, cleaning's.RESPONSIBILITIESOperate packaging machine equipmentTraining Operators and LineAssist in completing samples and trialsPerform cleaning inspectionsInspect all equipment used for sanitation and food safetySetup equipment for processRetrieve needed formersReport any problems with materials or equipment to the Production SupervisorEnter appropriate information into production data logsPerform all required testsPerform maintenance and cleaning as neededComplete paperwork as requireComplete orders by following production schedule and direction from production supervisorJOB QUALIFICATIONSGeneral mathematical and mechanical abilityExperience or training up to 1 month or moreSelf-motivationGood communication skillsLearning, memorizing and executing a sequence of proceduresGood hand - eye coordinationWilling and able to get along with othersGood judgment and reasoning abilitiesBasic computer skillsAbility to drive forklift and pass certification examBasic computer skillsPHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONSLifting up to 80 pounds alone; 120lbs in a teamContinuous standing and walkingContinuous bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, pushing and pullingFrequently climbing and reaching above shoulder levelOccasionally squattingWorking at times in a hot or cool environmentApply today and become a part of our team!40 hours per week - overtime as needed.
