Electrical Estimator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimatesPrepare detailed take-offs and material quantities for bidding purposesLearn and use ACCUBID/TRIMBLE estimating software for creating cost estimatesResearch and gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractorsCollaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimatesUtilize CRM (contact relationship software) to track and manage estimatesEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and codes, such as NEC (National Electrical Code)Collaborate with Preconstruction team to develop comprehensive project proposalsRequirements:Previous experience in electrical construction or service industryStrong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.Willingness to learn estimating software and tools.Use of Microsoft Office programs and software (Word, Excel, Office .. etc.)Understanding of computer file structures, moving files, folders etc.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.Strong communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is REQUIRED.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Benefits:No out-of-pocket cost for benefits!
