Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.Join Our Team as a Special Education Teacherin Bellingham, WA!Position:Special Education TeacherLocation:Bellingham, WAHours:Full TimeSchedule:Monday to FridayResponsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with special needs. Provide direct instruction and support to students in person. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best educational outcomes for students. Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance learning experiences for students with visual impairments. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet individual goals. Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student progress and IEP documentation. Stay current with best practices and research in special education to provide high-quality instruction. Requirements:Bachelors degree in Special Education; Masters degree preferred. Current Washington teaching license with Special Education endorsement Experience working with students is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues in an onsite setting.
