Throughout this paid internship, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our technical team and gain experience in research and development by evaluating various trials. The purpose of this internship is to assist Agnition in obtaining accurate data from our greenhouse trials and research farms located in Balaton and Marshall, while helping develop new strategies and ideas to complete projects. Interns can gain an abundance of knowledge in agronomics, data collection and management, as well as professionalism.This internship also includes the opportunity to job shadow other areas of the Ralco business that are of interest to the intern. This includes, but is not limited to, Ralco nutritionists, sales team, research & development, finance/accounting, purchasing, marketing, and administrative services.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate/monitor research farm and greenhouse trialsCollect and record field and greenhouse dataWork with others to complete tasksComplete any additional responsibilities as neededQualification and Education Requirements: Freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year in collegeMajoring in Ag Business, Agronomy, or other agriculture related fieldReside in, or are willing to move to, southwest MN for the summer Collaborates well with othersPhysical labor (lifting, digging, field work, etc.)Pay Rate: $16 - $17 / hourFor further information, contact:Lee Opdahl, PhDAgnition: Research and Development ManagerOffice: 507-337-6962Lee.opdahl@ Powered by JazzHRRvtFT0KFOl
