The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students' academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and community members to create a supportive learning environment for all students.Key Responsibilities:Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' intellectual, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies and interventions. Participate in IEP meetings and problem-solving sessions to design systems and programs that enhance student outcomes. Intervention: Provide individual and group counseling to students facing challenges such as bullying, disabilities, low self-esteem, academic struggles, and social anxiety. Prevention: Design and implement programs aimed at preventing academic, social, and behavioral issues while promoting mental health awareness. Qualifications:Education: A Specialist-level degree (e.g., Ed.S.) or doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in School Psychology or a related field. Certification: Valid Minnesota state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience: Prior experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred. Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educational teams is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
