As a self-contained classroom teacher, you will work with 13 elementary-aged students, providing personalized educational support to help them succeed and thrive. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students while working alongside a team of supportive paraprofessionals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Special Education (required). Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience in self-contained classrooms (preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Passion for working with elementary-aged students with special needs. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student. Provide specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals to ensure effective classroom management and student support. Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations. Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
