Proficient in trouble shooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of plumbing fixtures and HVAC systems in residential customers' homes. Pay Rate: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour. We pay based on experience and capabilitiesWhat you will be doing: Working on Residential HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures and systemsAssembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes. Acts as customer representative during client home interactions. Ensures client satisfaction with all work, including cleanup.Communicates to client what services are needed and why, prior to starting work.Exhibits a safety-first approach during all work activities, including when driving.Assembles pipe sections, tubing, fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.Keeps detailed records of work progress and customer interactions.Directs helpers engaged in pipe cutting, pre-assembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.Conducts appropriate tests to ensure successful completion of each plumbing job.Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.Required Qualifications:Valid driver's license and insurable driving recordMassachusetts Journeyman Plumber License or eligible to obtain License Experience working with HVAC, Boilers, and Hydronics systemsResidential service and installation experienceStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong finger and Manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixturesDetail-oriented, organized, and proficient of reading blueprintsKnowledge of HVAC equipment desired EPA Universal Certification desired High school diploma or equivalentLearn more about us online:
