ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs Set performance goals and deadlinesPlan construction processesEstimate costs and ensure the project is on budget Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback Monitor and report on project progressPlan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authoritiesImplement safety and quality guidelinesOrder the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenanceKeep track of material stock and ordersEnsure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderlyResolve on-site issues and emergenciesRequirements and skillsPrevious experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar roleKnowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sitesIn-depth understanding of construction operations and processesFamiliarity with CAD softwareProficiency in MS OfficeOrganizational and time-management skillsAbility to lead and inspirePay is 40+k per year + per diem.
