Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a general laborer to perform metal grinding, utility type requirements, floating throughout a production welding and processing environment. Responsible for various types of grinding, metal fabrication, hand/power tools, moving product, etc. Additionally, the role may involve operating a press brake, paint line, powder coating, and assembly tasks.ResponsibilitiesPerform metal grinding, floating, utility, general labor, etc. Work on brackets and components for large equipment.Operate a press brake, paint line, powder coating, and assembly equipment as needed.Quality assurance checksEssential SkillsExperience with grinding, fabrication, and using a tape measure.Knowledge of stainless steel and mild steel environments.Capability to work individually and maintain a strong attendance record.Additional Skills & QualificationsFlexibility and willingness to take on tasks outside of primary responsibilities.Growth mindset and ability to develop into supervisory roles.Strong work ethic and communication skills.Why Work Here?Join a growing company that values and supports its employees. The company is expanding, adding 6-7 new customers in 2024. The facility includes two buildings on site with production welding bays. The materials range from mild steel 20 gauge to 1 inch. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays. Flexible working hours are available, and the facility offers paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, Tennessee.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
