Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Production TechnicianReports to: Production ManagerExempt Status: Non-ExemptSummary:Position may be involved in any one of the following: Miscellaneous Paints/Inks, Synthetic, Synthetic Pumping. Position may require batch mixing, container handling, chemical handling and pumping, and general maintenance housekeeping. Forklift experience is required as well as ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. frequently on a regular basis. Primary Duties:Batch mixing according to specificationsHandling of chemicals with the proper use of personal protection equipmentTransfer of and/or mixing of products from one type of container to anotherUse of forklift to perform job responsibilitiesNon-Essential Duties:Warehouse product organizationMaintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work areaPerform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisorExperience:High school diploma or GEDForklift certification with minimum 6 month experienceAbility to establish and maintain effective positive working relationships with other employees and customers
