Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionResponsible for assembling, testing, and packing extremely large pumps.Key ResponsibilitiesComply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Meets daily production schedule as assigned.Uses materials to assemble extremely large pump units.Tests and packs the assembled pumps.Performs quality checks on assembled pumps to ensure product specifications are met.Performs other duties as required or assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilities Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseWorks with various hand and power tools.Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.Completes some moderately repetitive tasks. Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (required).6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred). Computer SkillsBasic: Barcode scanner.
