Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance Techs will enhance our guests' experience by responding to all guest room and resort area calls, as well as maintain our entire resort and facilities.To be an effective Maintenance Tech, the candidate needs to hard-working, have outstanding problem-solving abilities, and the ability to assist our guests in a prompt manner. Physical stamina and technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates talents.Responsibilities:Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: painting, minor repairs, and general maintenanceTroubleshoot and repair company machinery equipment or appliancesWhile walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attentionRespond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely mannerKeep all maintenance storage areas neat and cleanBe an active participant in inventory controlQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent qualification requiredPrevious experience in a similar role preferredOrganized with good communication skillsDetailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solvingMust be a team playerCompensation: Starting $20 an hour Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Free Associate ParkingFree Meal for every shift worked25% Discount in Resort OutletsHotel Discounts with OPLFriends and Family DiscountThe company also conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
