Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR).Job Responsibilities:Description of Essential Job Functions:Able to work 5 days a week Monday thru FridayUnload & load freight off/on trailers; lift various sizes and shapes of metalBe able to think through problems and come up with a solutionBe able to work independently with little supervisionAbility to complete jobs on timeKeep track of time and materials used on jobBe creativeRequirementsSkills & Experience:Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.Be able fabricate parts ranging from brackets to whole pieces of equipmentMig welding, cutting torches, plasma cutter and other various tools.Forklift experience preferred.Hydraulic systems knowledge preferred.12 volt electrical knowledge preferred.Good mechanical aptitudeBe able to repair and maintain various engines and mechanical partsKnowledge of construction equipment a plusGas and diesel engine knowledgeFabricationPrior experience in TMA, Road striping equipment is a plusBilingual is a plusLooking to hire immediatelyQualifications:5 years prior mechanical experience on heavy equipment.Attention to safety and always maintain and exceed proper OSHA standards.Ability to read and execute work orders.Ability to work and train with a diverse group of individuals.Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to a high level of detailThoroughness and reliabilityMust have a driver's licenseMust have own toolsPhysical Requirements:Regular job functions include continuous strenuous activities such as repetitive reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, kneeling, squatting and pulling; prolonged periods of standing, sitting, kneeling and walking; and properly operating motorized equipment and vehicles.Essential job functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for light to heavy lifting and carrying including frequent lifting to 50 lbs, occasional lifting up to 100 lbs, and on rare conditions safely moving over 100 pounds.
