Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Guest Service Agent at voco the Cadence is a crucial member of the hotel team responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for hotel guests. This individual will handle all guest interactions and inquiries, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide general assistance and support to guests during their stay. The Guest Service Agent will also work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, offering a competitive compensation package of $16 to $18 per hour. Employees will be paid on a weekly basis and will also be eligible for various benefits including healthcare, paid time off, and hotel disounts at IHG hotels worldwide. Responsibilities:Greet guests and provide a warm and friendly welcome upon arrivalAssist guests with the check-in and check-out process, including handling paymentsAnswer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely mannerProvide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractionsHandle guest complaints and resolve any issues with professionalism and efficiencyEnsure accurate and efficient processing of reservations and room assignmentsCommunicate with other hotel departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest requests and maintain a high level of guest satisfactionMaintain a neat and organized front desk area and lobby at all timesParticipate in regular training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skillsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferredPrevious experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidaysProficient computer skills, including experience with hotel reservation systemsFluency in English; additional language skills a plusMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 poundsEEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
