Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Night Auditor for Element Development LLC at IHG and Marriott locations is a crucial member of the hotel team responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for hotel guests. This individual will handle all guest interactions and inquiries, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide general assistance and support to guests during their stay. The Night Auditor will also work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for accurately balancing and reconciling the hotel's daily transactions and assisting our guests with any inquiries or concerns during the overnight hours.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, offering a competitive compensation package of $15.50 to $17 per hour. Employees will be paid on a weekly basis and will also be eligible for various benefits including healthcare, paid time off, and hotel disounts at IHG and Marriott hotels worldwide. Responsibilities:Conducts nightly audit and reconciles all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactionsHandles all cash, check, and credit card transactions during the overnight hoursAssists guests with check-ins and check-outs, as well as any inquiries or requests they may have during their stayCommunicates with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experienceHandles any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiencyMonitors the hotel's security cameras and takes action if any issues ariseCompletes daily reports and distributes them to the appropriate departmentsPerforms other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or General ManageRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferredPrevious experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidaysProficient computer skills, including experience with hotel reservation systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent requireSome college coursework in hospitality or accounting preferredPrevious experience in a similar role preferredStrong mathematical and computer skills requiredFamiliarity with Opera PMS system is a plusMust be able to work overnight shifts and weekendsExcellent customer service and communication skillsDetail-oriented and able to work efficiently under minimal supervisionFluency in English; additional language skills a plusAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 poundsEEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law
