ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualificationsThey must stay knowledgeable about automotive technology and safety standards while performing their duties efficiently and safelyHold a Valid and Clean Drivers LicensePunctual and reliableProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipmentBe able to bend, stretch, reach and climbBe able to lift up to 70 poundsSchedule flexibility - ability to work SaturdaysOutstanding communication skills- verbal & writtenProfessional appearanceSelf motivatedKnowledge of automotive systems and repair proceduresProficient in using computer software and systems, along with Tablet appsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing technologies and industryAutomotive Technician: 2 years (Required)Clean Driver's License (Required)New York State Inspectors License (Required)Benefits offeredMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off
