Field Service Supervisor

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Core Industrial Maintenance is looking for an experienced Field Service Supervisor to join our talented team of skilled tradespeople. We are looking for someone that understands multiple different types of welding techniques and proper applications of those skills in an industrial setting. This position works in a variety of environments, in a variety of functions, and frequently travel to customer sites. Temporary and Direct Hire roles available. General Responsibilities could include supervision and/or completion of:Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.Use rigging equipment and cranes to position and secure large metal piecesUse calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.Task Specific Responsibilities could include supervision and/or completion of:Perform pipe threading and welding for plumbing and construction projectsOperate machinery and tools for cutting, grinding, and machining metalPerform and inspect welding and soldering tasks Read and interpret plan documents and/or blueprints to determine specifications, scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials requiredLayout, fabricate, thread, bend, and install pipe Flame cut pipe to length and bevel, clean and prepare pipe for fit-upPerforms layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittingsProperly select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasksLoads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent3+ years experience in a field service setting TIG Welding experience in an industrial setting preferredOSHA 10/30 Training or CertificationProfessional experience as a Millwright and/or completion of an accredited millwright training program preferredPipefitting experience in an industrial setting preferredKnowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures
