Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Type: Full-timeCompensation: $40,000 - $120,000 per yearWe are looking for a skilled GM Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. If hired, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, with an aim towards maximum reliability and functionality. Ideal candidates are well-versed in complex mechanical and electronic systems of vehicles, and have excellent problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming towards optimal vehicle functionality and longevitySchedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle usageRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobKeep logs on work and issuesMaintain equipment and tools in good conditionMaintain all GM training requirementsQualifications:Proven experience as auto technicianExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsWillingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.ASE PreferredGM work history a definite plusBenefits:Excellent Work EnvironmentPaid Time OffMedical and Dental InsuranceLife and Short-term Disability Insurance401(k)
