We're seeking a Project Accountant to manage billing, track costs, and collaborate with teams to maintain the financial health of high-impact initiatives! Please reach out to Austen Zemrock on LinkedIn for a direct confidential conversation or email me a Word version of your resume for more information.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate preparation of invoices based on project progress and contractual agreements Generate, analyze, and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders Assist in managing program costs by tracking expenses and identifying any discrepancies in financial data Ensure compliance of billing processes with contractual terms, agreements, and company policies Support the development of financial forecasts and assist project managers in tracking budget variances Help maintain a cost control system for ongoing projects and identify potential cost overruns or inefficiencies Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and the accounting department to provide up-to-date program financials Assist in the preparation of program budgets, manage monthly billing cycles, and track milestones Ensure accurate data entry in financial systems and databases Assist in preparing documentation for audits and support the finance team in providing necessary records and reports for external audits Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary. Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently. Auditing skills are highly valued.
