Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - PRN/FULL TIME to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.Responsibilities:Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patientsProvide basic patient care and treatmentCollaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medicationsSterilize and prepare medical tools and equipmentEducate and update patients on medical treatmentsAssistance with ADLs.Client and caregiver health instructionsMedication management weekly/BiweeklyNotifies the Registered Nurse or Clinical Director of any changes in client status.Performs the following where training or demonstrated skills and the state nurse practice act permits: Inserting and irrigating tubes and Foley catheters. Administering oxygen by mask or cannula. Ventilator, Tracheostomy care and suctioning endotracheally.Wound CareSupervision of aides and other health care team members.Qualifications:Previous experience in nursing or other medical fieldsFamiliarity with medical tools and equipmentAbility to build rapport with patientsCompassionate and caring demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGraduate of an accredited nursing schoolCurrent State LPN/LVN LicenseSuccessful completion of the skills assessment specific to the area of practice.
