Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountsHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceJOB DESCRIPTONAssist Parts Manager & Service Advisor with daily processes and procedures.Back up for receiving and stocking of parts and materials.Assists in conducting physical inventories.Sorts freight for deliveryReceive and fill telephone orders for parts.Prepare parts and/or service sales slips or sales contracts.Assist customers, such as responding to customer complaints and updating them about back-ordered parts and service requests.Assists in locating and labeling parts, maintain inventory of stock, mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged systems.Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.Maintain and clean work and inventory areas.Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.Assists in the diagnosis of equipment malfunctions and participates in major repairs as required.Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, and tools used fabrication, repair, and operation.Ability to meet customer needs in a consistently helpful and courteous manner.Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of subordinate staff.Ability to diagnose difficult or unusual vehicle and equipment malfunctions and to determine corrective measures.Works and communicates with internal and external clients and customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
