WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?! $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Starting wages at $15.00 to $16.00/hr 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday 2nd 4pm to 12am and 3rd 12am to 8am shifts available Benefits Offered at 90 Day Conversion And More!JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the assembly precision of materials, components and sub-assemblies in one of the branded lines. Employment in this position also requires handling, lifting less than 50 pounds, rotation of head/neck, sitting, standing, use of low impact vibratory tools, walking, contact with metals, solvents, exposure to noise and atmospheric conditions, and the use of personal safety gear for face, eyes and feet.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Comply with Safety Policies and ProceduresIn depth understanding and application of the Safety Consequences PolicyFasten or assemble light and medium size parts in factory settingOperate electrical, hydraulic and air activated hand toolsRead and follow standard work directions on the assembly lineEnsure each piece meets quality standards as product is assembledKeep track of production numbers to ensure quota per machine is metReport any machine malfunctionsWork in a team environment embedded in lean manufacturing methodologyDrive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metricsRegular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibilityKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge and basic experience using precision measuring equipment.Working knowledge and basic experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsWorking knowledge and basic experience using computers and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Working knowledge and basic experience using handheld power toolsBasic Computer skills, advanced skills will be developedAbility to be Proficient in Microsoft Office suite within 12 monthsThe employee should possess the ability to:Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortableWithstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or outRegularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and armsRequired to climb and/or balance and stoop, kneel, and crouchProlong standing or in stationary positionComplete repetitive movementsBend and/or twistLift/move/transport items up to 50 poundsAbility to move or traverse about the facilitiesAbility to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditionsWear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
