Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Specialist IIJob DescriptionAssists with all general receiving and shipping operations in the GMP Warehouse. Supports the delivery of internal production supplies and assists with sampling and warehousing operations for production raw materials, component materials, maintenance and production stores, spare parts, and the laboratory stockroom. Ensures the proper storage of final products and assists with the shipment of final products to international and domestic destinations. Responsible for the proper storage of master and working cell banks. Schedules pickups and deliveries to the satellite warehouse for ABC materials while maintaining current GMP, safety, environmental quality, and EEO/AA standards.ResponsibilitiesAssist in all assigned functions in support of the stores inventory program, including the performance of cycle counts and physical counts.Operate material handling equipment.Ensure proper storage and shipment of final products.Schedule pickups and deliveries to the satellite warehouse.Maintain adherence to GMP, safety, environmental quality, and EEO/AA standards.Essential SkillsExperience with warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving.Proficiency in SAP/Data tracking/Warehouse system.Ability to pick good receipts for inbound and outbound shipping.Ability to operate material handling equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma, including good math skills.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving operations.Knowledge of PC and exposure to Microsoft Word and Excel software.Experience with computerized inventory control.Experience working in a GMP environment is highly desirable.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a professional work environment.Good judgment and problem-solving skills during time-restricted situations.Ability to remain current in all training requirements.Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).Why Work Here?Our company offers a professional work environment with opportunities for growth and development. The role requires meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 30 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day and performing constant bending, walking, and transporting materials.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Worcester, Massachusetts.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
