Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur established dental lab partner is looking for an experienced dental sales contributor, ideally based in the White Plains, NY Area, but any Westchester County location will work. Our client's Outside Sales Representative is responsible for strategically developing and managing a territory to effectively bring in new customer business to our client's affiliated labs while also retaining and growing existing customer sales to achieve overall goals. You will be calling on dentist and specialty dentist offices that utilize outside restorative labs. Must be able to communicate well and have the ability to establish relationships with team members, customers, and prospects.Essential Job Functions:Develop a list of prospects and utilize selling skills in order to generate new business and cultivate sales growth among these target accountsStrategically develop and manage territory to effectively handle all new and existing customersMaintain product knowledge, competitor knowledge, and industry trend awareness for overall effectivenessMeet established call average expectations and sales quotasMust be willing to travel frequently, including overnights, and have the ability to make 15-20 sales calls per dayEstablish and maintain relationships with existing customers and their staff in order to retain and cultivate existing salesEstablish and maintain dental industry contacts that will lead to future salesDisplay and promote our company values of Excellence, Creating Opportunities, Growth Mindset, Teamwork and Customer FocusResponsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with dentists and their staff to retain and cultivate existing customer salesCommunicate and collaborate with the technical staff to ensure account information is being communicated properly to guarantee customer satisfaction, continued sales retention and growth opportunitiesContinually search for ways to exceed our customers expectationsMake presentations and actively participate in regional and national tradeshowsCall on dentists within your assigned territory and inform these professionals about the features and benefits of our laboratory and products in order to grow market shareMaintain accurate records of communication with accounts and prospectsEmploy strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and planning skills in order to accomplish dutiesUtilize marketing materials and campaigns in order to build awareness and increase salesEvaluate and communicate back to management the marketability of our products in relation to customers needsMaintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developmentsIn addition to these typical duties, engage in other duties and special projects as assigned and requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications:Great interpersonal and communication skillsPositive, team-oriented attitude and professionalismMulti-tasking and organizational skills, with close attention to detailDisplay and promote our company values of Excellence, Creating Opportunities, Growth Mindset, Teamwork and Customer FocusGood time-management skills with an ability to perform under tight deadlinesAble to maintain the highest level of confidentialityTravel expectations of ~35% overnight (territory includes Northern NJ, NY & CT)Package Includes: Base salary range of $70k to $80k/yearCommission of ~$75k/yearCar allowanceFull benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k, STD, LTD, Life, PTO, etcIf you are an experienced dental sales performer and you meet the minimum qualifications, we invite you to apply.
