Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMBS is hiring a Quality Inspector in Fairfield, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the corrective and preventive action process by conducting lap tests (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers) and other lab equipment as needed.Test materials and products and create COAsFacilitate the closure of internal NCRs.Audit the production process.Review and approve incoming raw material COAs / COCs. Assist in calibration compliance & equipment verifications.Collect and compile quality data.Assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans.Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.REQUIREMENTSGood communication (oral & written) skills.Excellent organizational skillGood interpersonal skillsBasic EnglishComputer Software (Microsoft SharePoint, Suite, Minitab, etc.)Basic understanding of inspection equipment (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers) and other lab equipment as needed.High School Diploma or Equivalent required.3-5 years of related experience.
