C-130 Contract Instructor Pilot (CIP)

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionESP seeks a full-time Contract Instructor Pilot (CIP) to provide instruction in associated simulators for our C-130 schoolhouse courses at NAS/JRB Fort Worth, TX. A current SECRET Security Clearance is required.Job duties and responsibilities include but non limited toBrief/Debrief students under instruction in the classroom and in a motion/non-motion flight simulator environment.Lecture in an instructor-led classroom environment.Evaluate students under instruction in a flight simulator.Operate a full-motion/non-motion flight simulator.Prepare executive summaries at the conclusion of a course.Manage an assigned course for updates/modifications/recommendations to the Curriculum Development Department.Obtain NATOPS qualification as a CSI (contract simulator instructor) and maintain that status annually.Administer check rides to students for NATOPS/Instrument qualifications.Report to the Site Manager.Experience:Minimum of 1,000 actual flying hours in the C/KC-130 series required.Qualification as a Naval Air and Training Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) pilot in the C/KC-130 aircraft or have been a simulator instructor within the last five (5) years for the C/KC-130 aircraft type.Education:Four-year College degree required.Knowledgeable of Department of Defense (DOD) rules and regulations governing aircraft operation.Familiarization of NATOPS Flight manuals, minimum equipment lists (MEL), and standard operating procedures (SOP).ESP is an equal opportunity employer.
