Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryPower Connector Inc (PCI), a Trexon company, seeks a dedicated Accountant for its Bohemia, NY location. Timeliness, integrity, and ethical conduct are essential attributes for this role.Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, conducting bank and credit card reconciliations, overseeing general ledger operations, managing fixed assets, and preparing and maintaining balance sheets. We seek a self-motivated and reliable individual eager to contribute to our rapidly expanding company.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Account Receivables.Conduct thorough Bank Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.Apply advanced accounting methods and procedures to analyze and interpret financial information.Perform detailed general ledger balance sheet reconciliations and verify the accuracy of data entries.Monitor Bank Accounts and accurately record cash receipts using Epicor software.Collaborate with the Controller to prepare the weekly Cash Flow Forecast, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Assist the Controller in reconciling Intercompany Accounts to maintain accurate financial records.Support the monthly and year-end financial close processes by preparing assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.Respond to information requests and assist with audits, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.Analyze and summarize account information and trends to provide actionable insights to management.Protect organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of financial information and adhering to established security protocols.Other duties and projects assigned.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeExperience: Three (3) years of experience in a dedicated accounting functionSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as Epicor. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit and use a computer for extended periods.Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.Occasional lifting and carrying of moderately heavy items, such as files or boxes, may be required.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team membersSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annual base salary
