Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAdecco Staffing is partnering with a precision optics manufacturer and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diamond Turning Technician. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC and diamond turning machining, with a strong understanding of optical testing and inspection processes.Location: Jaffrey, NHPay Rate: $25.00 - $40.00/hourShift Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pmJob Responsibilities:Operate and set up diamond turning/grinding machining centers to produce precision optics and metal components.Develop, create, and modify CNC programs to meet exact specifications.Utilize optical test equipment such as interferometers and surface profilometers to ensure quality standards.Follow detailed processes and work instructions for diamond turning operations.Perform inspections using traditional equipment, such as toolmakers microscope, micrometers, height gauges, and Vernier calipers.Read and interpret both optical and mechanical engineering drawings.Complete assigned tasks in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.Support company values, work ethics, and collaborate on Kaizen events, root cause analysis, preventative actions, and customer quality events.Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.Report any security breaches or employee accidents/injuries to the supervisor promptly.Required Qualifications/Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC or diamond turning machining.At least 2 years of programming experience.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong math and analytical troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.Ability to read and understand optical and mechanical drawings.Ability to follow detailed instructions with precision.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Physical and Mental Requirements:Ability to stand for prolonged periods and maneuver around the plant.Full range of body movements, including the use of hands for handling tools and equipment.Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.May occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.Other General Company Criteria:Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrates professionalism in all aspects of the role.Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and responsibilities.Adherence to company policies and procedures, including safety standards.Must comply with environmental safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards in all work.Apply Today!Questions?
