While we are family-owned, we are not a small outfit - we are three companies operating under the Tosh Farms umbrella.As part of our growth, we need an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to perform the electrical wiring at our feed mill, new construction sites, and other existing barn sites. This position will require a licensed electrician who is able to work days Monday through Friday 6a-4p & respond to emergency calls after hours.It is an exciting time to be a part of the Tosh team - supporting the largest hog operation in TN where you will be part of something bigger - helping feed the world!In this role you should expect toResponsible for all tasks related to electrical systems and power to existing facilities, and facilities under construction (both industrial and residential)Install, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on electrical circuits, control panels, and boxes: replacing fuses, resetting circuit breakersResponsible for obtaining all necessary permits and authorizations before beginning workInspects all electrical connections prior to operation of systemsResponds to call-ins and performs emergency work when requestedAssist in troubleshooting generatorsOperate basic hand tools, and other heavy machineryWill run wire and conduit at elevated heightsChampion a Safety CultureFollow and adhere to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedWho you areAt least 18 years of ageAbility to maintain and sustain clean driving historyJourneyman's license with 5 years of work experienceWorking knowledge of installing electrical systems and National Electrical CodeAbility to read, interpret and perform work from blueprints and wiring diagramsDemonstrable mechanical, mathematical and analytical aptitudeEffective communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to follow instruction with limited supervision and manage timeProblem solving skills with independent decision-making abilityStrong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with extreme accuracyWork independently and also on a teamPhysical RequirementsMust be able to push, pull, lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionallyMust be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to reach and work overheadAbility to ascend/descend ladders, perform work at elevated heights, and operate aerial devicesAbility to operate company vehicle, heavy equipment and use power toolsAbility to work in all weather conditions (heat and cold)Able to work in dusty environments and confined spacesPowered by ExactHire:165617
