Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryWe are seeking a full-time float teacher (who moves between our 2 open concept rooms) for our childcare center in Woodstock, Vermont. To learn more, please visit . The expected hours will be 40 total with a start time between 8am and 10am end time between 4pm and 6pm. If you qualify as a teacher or teacher associate, that's a plus! We are requiring at least 1-year prior experience at a childcare center! You must love working with children and have experience working with young children.DutiesWe are looking for a Float person to help our classroom teachers that serve children ages 6 weeks through 3 years. Duties include:Classroom tidinessExcellent communication with director and teachersPrepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for childrenHelp children keep good hygieneChange the diapers of infants and toddlersHelps teachers with daily activities in the classroom Is hands-on with helping children learn through play Cleaning throughout the day and end of day cleaning RequirementsAt least a high school diploma1 year experience in the Early Childhood field (strongly preferred)Willing to take professional development classes Able to lift 50 pounds Able to provide 3 referenceswork 40 hours a weekNice To HavesA person who is fun and eager to help children grow!BenefitsPlanning to add benefits down the road.
