Do you have experience or are you skilled in Arts & Crafts, Sports, Nature, Drama, Archery and/or Teambuilding? YMCA Day Camp of Hooksett, a traditional summer day camp located at Hooksett Memorial School, is seeking innovative, dynamic, and enthusiastic multi-tasking Program Specialists to join the camp staff team.Program Specialists needed for the following areas: Archery, Sports, Nature, Team Building, Adventure and Arts & Crafts. Additional Responsibilities:Cultivate and supervise a fun and developmentally engaging environment and activities through appropriate techniquesDevelop and enforce specialty activity and equipment use guidelinesProvide ongoing camper programming; support theme days and rainy daysBuild positive nurturing relationships with campersBuild cooperative relationships with coworkers and supervisorsEngage with campers in a way that fosters Character buildingUphold the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Courage Qualifications:Minimum 3 years experience working in a day camp environment preferredBackground and/or education in recreation/physical education preferredApplicable certifications for specialty areaHigh School diploma or equivalentPossess strong organizational and group management skillsMust be available to attend camp trainings before and throughout camp seasonAble to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to workPosition Specifics:Camp season runs 06/23/2025 through 08/15/2025 and must be able to work most of the camp weeksYear-round employment opportunities are available with the YMCA.
