If you're dedicated to delivering excellent client service and this sounds like a good fit, start the application process today!Compensation:$115,917 yearlyResponsibilities:Consider clients life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needsSupport clients progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendationsGather and assess each clients financial information to accurately determine factors including financial status, cash flow, monetary expectations, financial goals, retirement plans, and additional factors related to wealth managementSeek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisorEmbrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team membersAbility to understand the needs and financial concerns of clientsAbility to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounterPromote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goalsCultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial securityAbility to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clientsProviding compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances ariseHaving a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of client relationships over timeQualifications:Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonusBasic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is neededA Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is requiredSuperior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clientsBasic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessarySales experience preferred, but not requiredEntrepreneurial mindsetDesire to help families and businesses address their financial needsStrong business acumenProfessional business demeanorPerseverance in the face of a challengeAbility to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contactsMust live within 100 miles of the office in Wall Township, NJAbout CompanyAbout New York Life...New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
