Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to be a part of our team in the Import/Export industry, based in Wilmington, North Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be immersed in a role that revolves around managing customer interactions, data entry tasks, and logistics operations. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Interact with customers to handle complaints, process orders, and provide information about our products and services Use computer systems to record customer details and process transactions Operate basic office equipment as part of daily tasks Utilize Microsoft Office suite to maintain and update customer records Handle logistics-related tasks and take necessary actions based on customer accounts status Train and adapt to the specific requirements of working within the logistics domain of the Import/Export industry Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our company's reputation for excellent service Ensure accurate and efficient data entry, updating customer credit applications and records accordingly. Proficiency in using basic office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and scanners Demonstrated ability in basic office skills, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently Proven experience in computer data entry, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and speed Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of import/export industry, with an understanding of its regulations and procedures Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Willingness to work in a team environment as well as independently when required High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the import/export industry, is highly desirable
