Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of an Administrative Support / Customer Service Representative to join our team located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be the initial point of contact for our customers, managing inbound communications and performing various administrative tasks. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity that offers the chance to work within a dynamic and evolving industry.Responsibilities: Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate responses Review and assign incoming emails with attached files to the appropriate team member or department Maintain and update customer information records in a precise manner Process customer orders and applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient service Use Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize data effectively Act as the first point of contact for our Accounts Payable department, assisting callers with their queries or directing them to the appropriate person or department Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a seamless communication experience for our customers Contribute to the billing process, ensuring all customer accounts are accurately monitored and managed. Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role, preferably within the metal fabrication industry Proficiency in answering inbound calls, with the ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls Strong customer service skills, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach towards problem-solving Competence in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Experience in email correspondence, possessing excellent written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, demonstrating a high level of computer literacy Experience in order entry, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating an understanding of basic accounting principles Experience in billing, with the ability to accurately process invoices and payments.
