Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Florence, South Carolina. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger management. You will also be expected to utilize your Microsoft Excel skills for analytics and data management.Responsibilities Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage cash transactions and bank reconciliations Regularly maintain and update the general ledger Perform journal entries as part of the month-end close process Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analytics, including the creation of pivot tables and use of vlookups Work closely with purchasing receivers and understand how they interact with the AP function Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained Process customer credit applications effectively and efficiently Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Competence in managing General Ledger Ability to handle Journal Entries Knowledge of Month End Close procedures Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
