Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDEPARTMENT: ProductionLOCATION: Schafer Retail Solutions + - 1000 Flag Road, Adair, IASCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM); some overtime on FridaysPosition Summary:The Lottery Assembly II position is responsible for performing the various tasks required to prepare and assemble multiple parts using different techniques into finished products that are packaged and ready for sale. This position also assembles a variety of plastic products both rotomolded and injection molded for orders. Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible to follow quality directions from Line Leader or Production Supervisor (visual and feel)Run a variety of power and hand tools (electric and pneumatic)Glue parts for subassemblies or final product Use appropriate jigs and fixtures to bend and assemble partsMaintain a clean and safe work environment for self and co-workersPack product per specification from Line Leader or Production Supervisor Assemble and package parts per specificationMaintain accurate documentation of production records and part counts Work in multiple areas within department as time permits Float to other departments as instructedOther duties may be assignedWork Environment/ Physical RequirementsThe work environment while performing the duties of this job:Regularly exposes the employee to fumesRegularly exposes the employee to moderate-loud noise levels Occasionally near moving equipment and mechanical parts Regularly is climate controlledThe physical demands while performing the duties of this job:Regularly require the employee to stand, walk, bend, reach and handle multiple tools (electric, hand and pneumatic)Regularly require the employee to lift or move up to 50 pounds Regularly require employee to communicate (verbally and written)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to use and maintain basic equipmentAttention to detailBasic math skillsAdhere to safety guidelinesMaintain safe work environmentPreferred QualificationsStrong organizational skillsProblem solving and troubleshooting abilityManufacturing experience a plusMechanical experience a plus
