Candidates should have working knowledge and experience of horticultural and landscaping operations.Attention to detail is a key attribute we look for in our candidates.Responsibilities and Duties: Work with a staff of maintenance technicians during the work day. Reporting and working with a crew foreman. Working knowledge and experience of horticultural and landscaping operations. Experience with the use of commercial lawn mowers. Accurately tracks and documents work hours, equipment usage hours and materials used on project sites. Communicates and work well with other crew members so that tasks are completed efficiently as possible, timely and that the desired quality of work is achieved. Tasks may also include planting, pruning, mowing, trimming of lawns, weeding, grubbing, edging, aerating, mulching, spreading topsoil, watering, raking, digging holes and trenches, and various other activities associated with the landscape industry. Planting, deadheading and maintaining annual flowers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in bending and standing positions for extended periods, work in adverse weather conditions. Qualifications and Skills: Candidates should have working knowledge of horticultural and planting including lawn maintenance experience-using commercial lawn mowers.
