Our outpatient physical therapy clinics specialize in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.We recently expanded to 4 locations, two offices in Hot Springs and two offices in Hot Springs Village (a gated retirement community about 20 miles north of Hot Springs). We are looking to expand our mission of helping 3000 Arkansans each year by 2025. Our focus is to help our community live their lives to the fullest by helping them overcome their physical challenges! You need a PTA license in good standing to practice in the state of Arkansas. We prefer 2-3 years of experience, however, we will consider those with less experience if they are the right candidate, We are willing to mentor those with less experience. We are looking for a full-time professional.ResponsibilitiesImplement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent mannerInstruct and counsel patients effectively in exercisesIdentify patients needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy for individual differencesRecommend options, courses of action, or modifications in selected treatments ensure the patients progress, safety, and comfortApply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injuryComplete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy servicesPerform selected data collection and obtain accurate informationMeasure performance and report on patients medical recordParticipate in patient status judgmentsParticipate in various weekly meetingsAdhere to ethical and legal standardsEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledgeQualificationsProven working experience as a physical therapist assistantExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standardsHands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalitiesAbility to communicate and instruct effectivelyHealthcare administration and documentation skillsLicense to practice or relevant certificationAssociate degree as a PTAPhysical Therapy Assistant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)CPR Certification (Preferred)Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Preferred)
