We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.Job Title: Construction EstimatorLocation: Midtown Manhattan - In-PersonPosition Overview: The Construction Estimator plays a crucial role in the preconstruction phase of construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong analytical skills to ensure that project bids are competitive and financially sound. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information, assess project requirements, and prepare comprehensive estimates that align with the project scope and budget.Key Responsibilities:Travel to sites throughout NYC on a regular basisEstimating software for cost estimationManage billing and invoicing processes using AIA standardsMaintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholdersConduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address any issuesProvide leadership and guidance to other team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentMaintains professional behavior and attitude on a daily basisQualifications:Possess in-depth knowledge of the NYC construction processesMust have significant NYC experienceMust have significant facade and roofing experienceMust have significant estimating experience in NYCStrong project estimation skillsStrong background using software for estimatingIn-depth knowledge of NYC construction processes, regulations, and codesExtensive knowledge of all flat roofing systems from Soprema, Siplast, Johns Manville, Firestone, Carlisle.Extensive knowledge of all elements of a Facade and associated replacement costsExperience with AIA billing proceduresStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage estimating numerous projects and meet deadlinesDetail-orientedRequirement to travel to multiple projects within NYC on a regular basisLiving within New York City or within close commuting distance.Education & Experience:A minimum of 5 years of experience in NYC construction as a Construction EstimatorBenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experiencePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and career growthPay: $100,000 - $150,000 annuallyHealth Insurance BenefitsCommuter BenefitsHow to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience to [Insert Contact Information].We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
