Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. At Nucor our teammates are our greatest priority. This position is to fill the need of an onsite provider for our health clinic, providing primary care to our teammates and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including ER, acute care, urgent care, and family medicine . This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, with an emphasis on clinical excellence and effective communication. As the provider, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing high-quality healthcare services.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations of patients.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations.Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology and documentation systems.Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.QualificationsPhysician Assistant (PA): Current and valid PA license in the state of Texas, certified by the Texas Physician Assistant Board or equivalent.Nurse Practitioner (NP): Current and valid NP license in the state of Texas, with board certification in family, adult, or occupational health.Valid Drug Enforcement Agency license upon hire requiredProficiency in medical terminology and documentation systems.Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.Join our team as we strive to provide exceptional healthcare services while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $100,000.00 - $131,151.00 per yearExpected hours: No less than 12 per weekMedical Specialty:Occupational MedicinePrimary CareUrgent CareEducation:Master's (Required)Experience:Family medicine: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:Terrell, TX 75160 (Required)Work Location: In person
